Logo Poggio Santa Maria

In an era where wine becomes the spokesperson for territories, traditions, and innovations, Poggio Santa Maria is preparing its debut at Vinitaly.

This year, the winery will stand out for its first participation in the event, representing not only its wines but also the undeniable charm of the territory it comes from.

Poggio Santa Maria will be in the Umbria Regional Wine Shop. Desk is located in Pavilion 2, Stand A9-F9, thanks to a collaboration with the Trasimeno Wine Consortium. This strategic partnership underscores the company’s commitment to promoting the wine culture of the Umbrian territory, enriching it with its innovative and sustainable vision.

Vinitaly: the labels

During the event, Poggio Santa Maria will have the opportunity to present to the international audience two new vintages of its most representative wines: ‘MM78’, a selected Trasimeno white wine born from the blend of Chardonnay and Vermentino grapes, and ‘Tresa’, a historic label produced from Merlot grapes. These wines are the result of careful selection and meticulous work in the vineyard and cellar, authentic expressions of the terroir and the philosophy of Poggio Santa Maria.

‘MM78’ sets out to challenge conventions, combining the freshness and aromaticity of Vermentino with the structure and complexity of Chardonnay. The result is a white wine with character, capable of surprising and captivating from the first sip.

‘Tresa’, on the other hand, highlights the versatility of Merlot, offering a deep red, rich in nuances and with a perfect balance between softness and vigour.

Poggio Santa Maria’s participation at Vinitaly marks a significant moment for the company, allowing it to consolidate its presence on the national and international markets. It will be a unique opportunity for enthusiasts and industry professionals to discover the latest news from a winery committed to advancing the values of Italian wine tradition, interpreting them in a contemporary key.
